Yesterday was a remarkable day. We had a wonderful time marching alongside thousands of people in Austin and millions of people across the country for such a strong cause. To say it felt empowering would be an understatement. Here are some pictures we captured of an event that will go down in history. We marched because in a world that is supposed to be moving forward, there is no room for inequality. #whyimarch

It was beautiful to see the many causes and reasons that brought women and men to stand together yesterday. Looking around, we were amazed by the sayings on the signs that our fellow sisters and brothers were holding. Several were clever and comedic, but some had breathtakingly real messages that made me stop and wonder why, that in the 21st century, our society still has to fight for certain rights.

A few of our favorites:

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

“I march so my children don’t have to”

“Respect existence or expect resistance”

“Make America Think Again”

“When they go low, we go high. But we won’t go back.”
